There have been some positive developments, even as the Las Vegas strike date is approaching next week. About 8,000 workers in culinary and hospitality positions are threatening to strike if a new agreement is not reached, which had the potential to effect some twenty resorts during the Super Bowl. Happily, as we believed would happen, some agreements have been reached. It’s a slow process, however, and there may not be time to reach agreements with all the workers before the Vegas strike date deadline of February 2nd.
