Source: 1B Rizzo opts out of contract with Yanks

First baseman Anthony Rizzo, 33, officially opted out of his contract with the New York Yankees on Monday night, a source told ESPN’s Jesse Rogers, an expected move after a season that saw the veteran hit 32 home runs with 75 RBIs.
