An 81-year-old woman was listed in critical condition after she and another pedestrian were struck by a truck at the Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday.

The woman underwent emergency treatment for apparently serious injuries Tuesday night at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Details were not released on her injuries. Officials did not have information on her updated condition as of early Wednesday.

The second pedestrian, described as an 82-year-old man, suffered minor injuries from the accident, according to Las Vegas TV station KSNV. He also was taken to Sunrise Hospital for treatment.

The accident took place at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard at about 6:30 p.m.

The two were both struck by the 2005 Ford F150 pickup truck near the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.

They were crossing the street in a crosswalk when the truck moved forward and collided into them. They both fell to the pavement.

The two did not walk into the road until a signal indicated they could walk across the intersection.

The truck had been stopped for a red light in a southbound lane of Las Vegas Boulevard.

One of the victims resides in California. Their names were not immediately released.
