Formula 1 has announced its lineup for the opening ceremony of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will take place Wednesday, Nov. 15, three days ahead of the big race.
Nine music acts will perform atop seven mobile stages. These will include: rock acts Journey, Bishop Briggs, and Thirty Seconds to Mars (a duo featuring Oscar-winner Jared Leto); dance acts/DJs Steve Aoki, J Balvin, and Swedish House Mafia; R&B/soul singer Andra Day; country crooner Keith Urban; and rapper will.i.am.

Appearances will also be made by all 20 Formula 1 racers, as well as Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil.
The show will be complemented by a state-of-the-art lighting display with 1,000 lights and 100 lasers, fireworks and a curated drone show powered by T-Mobile.
The opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. F1 says they expect nearly 30,000 to watch live from the Wynn Grid Club, Paddock Club, Skybox, or Heineken Silver Main Grandstands. ESPN2 is also set to broadcast it nationally.
