Acres Manufacturing has debuted its Cashless Casino technology on every slot machine at Rolling Hills Casino & Resort in Corning, Calif. The tech allows cash-free wagering on any machine, regardless of its manufacturer.

Cashless Casino is now in use in 11 states, according to its Las Vegas-based manufacturer, which says that Nevada will be added to that list when an undisclosed Silver State casino debuts the company’s next installation within two months.
Rolling Hills was the first tribal casino to employ Cashless Casino.
“Adapting to evolving player preferences and useful technological advances has become a necessary step in the casino industry,” Rolling Hills GM Antonio Perez said in a statement released by Acres Manufacturing. “The feedback we have received from our players has been tremendous.”
The system, named the 2023 Product Innovation of the Year by Gaming America, allows casino operators to sync their slots and table games with a digital wallet or payment processor of their choice.
Players use the casino’s mobile app to connect with a Bluetooth card reader installed on every game across the casino floor.
“Cashless gaming is proven to increase casino profitability by offering more funding options to players, who respond by increasing their visit frequency and time played at the casino,” exec Noah Acres said in his company’s statement.
Rolling Hills Casino is operated by the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians.
